Terms & License
These terms govern the use of millipress.com and the MilliCache Pro software and license (the "Software"). They are provided by MilliPress, Philipp Wellmer, Isartalstraße 10, 80469 München, Germany ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using the Software you agree to these terms.
1. The purchase contract
Paid licenses are sold and processed by our reseller Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Telliskivi 57b/1, 10412 Tallinn, Estonia), acting as Merchant of Record. The purchase contract is concluded with Creem, and Creem's Buyer Terms govern payment, invoicing, taxes and the right of withdrawal. We license the Software to you under the terms below.
2. License grant
Subject to an active subscription, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to install and use MilliCache Pro on the number of production sites included in your plan ("seats"). Local and staging environments do not count toward your seat limit. Seats may be moved between sites from your account dashboard. The license term equals your subscription period and includes software updates and support while the subscription is active.
3. Open-source code & what you pay for
The MilliCache plugin code is free and open source under the GPL-2.0-or-later license, and the GPL grants you remain unaffected. Your MilliCache Pro purchase pays for the license key, delivery of automatic updates, private Composer repository access, and priority support — not for a restriction on the code's GPL freedoms. We may suspend the license key, update delivery and support if a subscription lapses or is refunded; code already installed under the GPL continues to function.
4. Updates after expiry
If your subscription ends, the Software you have installed keeps working, but you no longer receive updates, private Composer access or support until you renew.
5. Acceptable use
You may not resell, sublicense, share or publish your license key or private Composer credentials, or use them to provide update access to sites beyond your seat entitlement. You may not use the Software unlawfully or to infringe third-party rights. We may revoke a license used in breach of these terms.
6. Support
Paid plans include priority email support on a best-effort basis during the active subscription. We do not commit to a specific response-time service level unless expressly agreed in writing.
Support covers installation, activation, licensing and seat issues, reproducible defects in the Software, and questions about its documented features and configuration. Support does not include bespoke work on your behalf — in particular writing, designing or debugging custom rules for your site, custom development or integrations, server, hosting or Redis infrastructure setup beyond what the documentation describes, performance auditing of your site, or resolving conflicts caused by third-party plugins, themes or a modified copy of the Software. Such work is available as separate paid services on request.
7. Warranty & liability
The Software is provided with reasonable care, but to the extent permitted by law it is provided "as is". We are liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body or health, for intent and gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible at all), limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Any further liability is excluded. This does not alter the statutory burden of proof.
8. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms; the version in force at the time of your purchase or renewal applies to that term. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Questions: .
